The St. Charles Public Library is a great resource for people of all ages that want to learn and engage!  We are located at 113 South Lumber Street in St. Charles.  We have free wireless connection and public computers for use by any patron.


Kids summer reading June-July (ages 4-11 ; let the kids enjoy summer reading, crafts, and group activities with other children- can come in to sign up or send an email.)

We do accept volunteers.  Email, call, or come in to talk to the librarian if interested.  Monetary donations for support are always appreciated.

We are always interested in supplying materials our customers are looking for.  Please stop by and put your book preferences on our “Wish List” and sign up for a library card if you don’t already have one.

We now offer Bridges/Overdrive for downloading E-books, Audiobooks, and Videos to Kindle, E-Readers, I-Pad, and mobile phones Here.  Simply use the scroll down for the library name, St. Charles Public Library, and use your library card numbers (without the letter suffix) and check out as many as 3 items for up to 14 days.

We now offer library web access allowing patrons to check the catalog, reserve, renew, see checkout status, and create a book bin here.

We now offer Brainfuse, where our patrons can get free job and veteran services, as well as tutoring and school help.
